The Dishwasher role at Tocaya is a vital position that ensures the smooth operation of the kitchen and dining areas by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation. This role involves the washing and sanitizing of all flatware, glassware, and china that comes back to the dish pit, which is critical to providing a safe and pleasant dining environment for guests. In addition to dishwashing duties, the Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the entire dishwashing area to exceed department of health standards, managing all trash removal, and keeping external trash areas immaculate. The Dishwasher works closely with the Executive Chef, Prep and Line cooks, as well as front-of-house staff to ensure that clean dishes and utensils are always available to meet demand.
