Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • No related work experience required
  • Knowledge of sanitation procedures including basic concepts of food safety
  • Ability to walk or stand for extended periods throughout the shift which may exceed 8 hours
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull frequently
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity

Job Duties

  • Wash dishes by hand or place them in a dishwashing machine
  • Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks
  • Sweep, mop, clean and vacuum floors
  • Remove trash and garbage to designated areas
  • Clean equipment using specific chemicals to ensure sanitary standards
  • Re-stock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and cleaning materials
  • Assist with basic setup and breakdown tasks as directed
