Receiving and properly storing perishable products and rotating stock are critical parts of the job to maintain food safety and inventory accuracy. Using chemical detergents, disinfectants, and rinsing products with three-compartment sinks to wash dishes is essential to uphold Marriott's standards of cleanliness.

The role demands stamina and physical capability, as tasks include standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, lifting or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and performing various physical movements such as bending, reaching, and twisting. The candidate is expected to uphold company safety policies, report accidents or unsafe conditions, and complete necessary safety training and certifications. Communication skills and teamwork are highly valued; the ability to speak clearly, build positive relationships, and support team goals contribute significantly to the work environment.

The role serves as a stepping stone for potential growth and advancement within the Marriott family, encouraged by the company’s focus on career development and employee well-being. Joining JW Marriott means you will become part of a community that values personal and professional growth, inclusivity, and the tradition of hospitality excellence known as The JW Treatment.
