This specific opportunity is for a part-time Dishwasher position at Panola College, offering hourly pay ranging from $10 to $12. Job Requirements

  • no prior related work experience required
  • knowledge of sanitation procedures and food safety

  • punctuality and regular attendance

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • knowledge of sanitation procedures including basic food safety concepts
  • ability to perform physical tasks involving reaching, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • ability to stand or walk for extended periods, possibly exceeding 8 hours
  • no prior related work experience required

Job Duties

  • Washes dishes by hand or places them in a dishwashing machine
  • cleans and sanitizes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks
  • sweeps, mops, cleans and vacuums floors
  • removes trash and garbage to designated areas
  • cleans equipment using specific chemicals to ensure sanitary standards
  • re-stocks supplies such as soap, paper towels, and cleaning materials
  • assists with basic kitchen set-up and break-down tasks as directed
  • attends work and shows for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
  • performs other duties as assigned depending on business necessities and client requirements
