Job Description
Pastini is a cherished restaurant group inspired by the rich agriculture and natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest, specifically the farms, vineyards, and waters that define the region. Founded in 2001 and based in Portland, Oregon, Pastini has grown to a family of eight restaurants throughout the state, celebrated for their dedication to serving two of life's greatest pleasures: pasta and wine. With a commitment to fresh, local ingredients, Pastini meticulously sources produce, dairy, artisan breads, coffee, and meat from local Oregon suppliers, ensuring every dish is handcrafted to order and made with care. This dedication not only enhances the quality of every plate served but also supports the local community and sustains the regional economy.
Pastini Eugene is currently seeking dishwashers to join their vibrant team. This role is essential in maintaining the smooth operation of the restaurant, ensuring that all dishware, pots, pans, and silverware are impeccably clean and readily available for service. Dishwashers at Pastini are responsible for both front and back-of-house cleaning duties, including the restaurant floors, restrooms, exterior areas, trash and recycling management, and participating in deep cleaning projects. The position demands reliability, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. It is a hands-on job where attention to detail, cleanliness, and sanitation are paramount.
The role emphasizes teamwork and support, not only in dishwashing but also during catering deliveries and other special assignments as directed by management. Candidates are expected to arrive prepared, in proper uniform, and practice a "clean as you go" work ethic while following health and safety regulations strictly. Pastini Eugene values employees who take pride in their work, demonstrate excellent time management skills, and maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.
Working at Pastini comes with numerous benefits, including health insurance eligibility, paid sick leave, 401(k) retirement plans, flexible scheduling options, meal shifts, dining discounts, tips from the pool, and Oregon-based retail discounts. The company fosters an inclusive and respectful work environment and is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE). Those interested can apply online or visit the restaurant to apply in person. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who want to join a well-respected local restaurant group, grow their skills, and contribute positively to the guest experience and community.
