The restaurant is currently seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and consistent Back of House staff to join their team, specifically for the role of a Dishwasher. Job Requirements

  • 16+ years of age
  • prior experience in dishwashing or food preparation is preferred but not required
  • available to work on weekends and weekdays
  • able to commit to at least 10 hours per week
  • knowledge of food safety practices
  • physical ability to reach, bend, crouch, and lift up to 30 pounds
  • good communication skills
  • ability to multitask and work well under pressure

Job Qualifications

  • 16+ years of age
  • previous dishwashing or food preparation experience in a professional kitchen environment is a plus
  • weekend and weekday availability
  • minimum 10 hours per week
  • familiarity with food safety and preparation procedures
  • capable of reaching, bending, crouching, and lifting up to 30 pounds
  • must be an effective communicator and multi-tasker
  • attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure

Job Duties

  • Properly washing and sanitizing dishes
  • helping maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen
  • Adhere to all local food safety and sanitation laws and help ensure all workstations and food preparation areas are properly cleaned and tidied
  • Completing assorted tasks as required to help the kitchen run smoothly including cleaning spills
  • washing and sanitizing dishes
  • restocking plates/glasses/utensils once sanitized
  • pre-portioning sauces/dressings
  • Observing inventory to notify chefs of needed refills
  • Restocking dishes in appropriate locations when clean and dry
