Currently, the franchise is seeking dedicated individuals for the role of Utility Person / Dishwasher. This role is vital to ensuring that guests have an exceptional dining experience by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, both inside and outside the restaurant. Cleanliness is one of the top factors guests consider when deciding whether to revisit a restaurant. Therefore, this position requires an individual who is detail-oriented and committed to thoroughness in all cleaning tasks.

The Utility Person / Dishwasher plays a comprehensive role that involves dishwashing duties as well as general sanitation responsibilities. This includes providing guests with spotless silverware, dishes, and glassware, which are essential to their overall dining satisfaction. Beyond dishwashing, the role involves maintaining a spotless restaurant environment including the dining area, restrooms, and exterior spaces such as parking lots and the building's perimeter.

In addition to cleanliness duties, the Utility Person / Dishwasher supports operational efficiency by ensuring all necessary dining utensils and equipment are properly stocked throughout the restaurant, including the cook, line, and server stations. This ensures the restaurant can operate smoothly and meet guest demands seamlessly throughout service hours. The individual in this role should also be proactive in identifying and reporting any equipment or facility issues to management to help maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Provide clean, sparkling silverware and dishes to the guest
  • Clean the inside of the restaurant to provide a pleasant, safe environment for guests and co-workers
  • Clean around the outside of the building and the parking lot
  • Check, clean, and stock the rest rooms
  • Empty trash into the dumpster and keep the dumpster, trash cans and back dock area clean
  • Thoroughly clean and organize the utility area
  • Perform duty roster and ensure cleanliness, services, and quality standards are met
  • Follow local health department laws
  • Stock cook, line, and server areas with appropriate glasses, silverware, and dishes
  • Maintain excellent organization, speed, and cleanliness
  • Bring equipment and facility problems to the attention of the manager
  • Know and follow position responsibilities as they relate to just-in-time delivery
