Within the Food & Beverage / Kitchen department, the Dishwasher role is a crucial hourly, non-exempt position reporting to Kitchen Manager, Food & Beverage Manager, Assistant General Manager, or General Manager. The Dishwasher ensures that the kitchen maintains the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety by effectively cleaning, sanitizing, and storing dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment. This role plays an integral part in supporting kitchen operations, with a primary focus on sanitation and risk prevention to deliver a safe back-of-house environment. The Dishwasher is responsible for adhering to all applicable local, state, and federal health regulations, as well as company policies regarding hygiene and safety.

By operating dishwashing equipment correctly and monitoring machine temperatures and chemical levels, the Dishwasher safeguards the sanitation standards necessary for food safety. The position requires being vigilant to promptly address potential hazards such as spills or broken glass to avoid accidents. The role also maintains the organization and cleanliness of dishwashing and back-of-house areas, including sinks, floors, drains, and workspaces. Assisting with trash removal, recycling, and grease disposal following safety procedures further supports environmental cleanliness. Additionally, the Dishwasher ensures that kitchen staff have a steady supply of clean dishes and utensils to maintain smooth service operations.

Job Duties
