The Dishwasher position is based at Gonzaga University, offering both full-time and part-time employment options with a competitive pay range between $17.13 and $19.00 per hour. This role plays a crucial part in supporting kitchen and facility operations to uphold high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization. The dishwasher’s responsibilities encompass washing dishes by hand or machine, cleaning and sanitizing worktables and equipment, sweeping and mopping floors, removing trash, restocking essential supplies, and assisting in basic setup and breakdown activities. This position demands stamina and physical capability as it involves standing or walking for extended shifts, sometimes exceeding eight hours, and lifting items up to 50 pounds.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • no previous related work experience required
  • understanding of basic sanitation and food safety

Job Duties

  • Washes dishes by hand or in a dishwashing machine
