The role of Utility Steward at Hilton is a vital position within the hotel's kitchen and dining operations. Far more than just maintaining cleanliness, the Utility Steward is an essential part of delivering the warmth and light of hospitality. This role ensures the kitchen and dining areas are impeccably maintained, promoting a safe and efficient environment that supports seamless service delivery. Responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining serviceware such as chinaware, silverware, and cooking utensils, as well as scrubbing pots and pans and burnishing silver. The Utility Steward is also tasked with monitoring and organizing stock levels of supplies and equipment to ensure that all service needs are met without interruption.

In addition to the hands-on cleaning and maintenance duties, the Utility Steward supports event setups by preparing and organizing serviceware for banquets and functions, contributing to the smooth execution of special occasions.
