The company values its employees and provides numerous opportunities for career growth and advancement within the hospitality industry. This emphasis on development, combined with their dedication to customer service and operational efficiency, positions Atlas Restaurant Group as a leading employer in the Baltimore restaurant scene.

The Dishwasher role at Atlas Restaurant Group is an entry-level position crucial to maintaining the smooth operation of the restaurant services. This position involves more than just washing dishes; it plays a key role in ensuring a clean, efficient, and sanitary environment that supports both the kitchen and dining area teams. The Dishwasher helps keep pots, pans, glassware, and flatware washed, sanitized, and correctly stored. Beyond dishwashing, the role includes essential cleaning tasks such as washing worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks, as well as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Additionally, the dishwasher is responsible for breaking down the kitchen for cleanup, managing trash removal, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of storage areas. Periodically, duties may extend to floor buffing and steam cleaning trash cans, underscoring the holistic cleaning approach required.

The role also occasionally involves basic food preparation tasks as directed by kitchen management, providing a foundation for learning other kitchen operations. Employees must have the flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the dynamic nature of the restaurant industry.

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities, making it an ideal entry point for individuals beginning their careers in restaurant service or those seeking a supportive team environment. The role requires physical stamina, including the ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, and perform tasks requiring agility and balance. It is a fast-paced job demanding efficiency, organization, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Atlas Restaurant Group values strong interpersonal skills in its staff. Dishwashers are expected to conduct themselves with professionalism, emotional intelligence, and teamwork, recognizing their role in contributing to the overall customer experience. The company encourages personal accountability, mutual respect among employees, and open communication.

Compensation for this role ranges from $15.00 to $20.00 per hour. Full-time employees working over 30 hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401k contributions, company-paid life and AD&D insurance, learning and development programs, advancement opportunities, pet insurance, and a 25% discount at Atlas properties. Part-time employees also have access to selected benefits such as 401k contributions, company-paid life insurance, learning programs, advancement opportunities, and discounts.

Joining the Atlas Restaurant Group as a Dishwasher is more than just a job; it is an opportunity to be part of a company that values its team members and their growth.
