The Dishwasher/Utility position at Red Lobster plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant. This role requires a hands-on individual who is detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Primary responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing all dishes, utensils, pots, pans, glassware, and kitchen equipment to meet health and safety standards. The dishwasher must also manage the kitchen and restaurant waste by emptying trash receptacles and maintaining cleanliness in all restaurant areas to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for staff and customers alike. Moreover, the dishwasher supports the kitchen team by assisting with prep work and specialty item preparation, such as the iconic "Cheddar Bay Biscuits." Safety is paramount in this position, as is the ability to operate dishwashing machines and equipment correctly. The role demands physical stamina as standing for 8 to 12 hour shifts and safely lifting up to 30 pounds are required.
