Reporting directly to the Executive Chef or Sous Chef, the dishwasher is responsible for the cleaning and proper storage of all cooking utensils, china, flatware, and glassware used within the club's kitchens. This role is critical to the club’s daily food service success, supporting the kitchen and catering staff by maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in all dishwashing and prep areas.

This position requires consistent attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to follow established procedures to ensure proper food safety and hygiene practices are adhered to at all times. The dishwasher will engage in various tasks such as operating dishwashing machines, polishing silverware and chafing dishes, handling trash disposal responsibly, and general cleaning of kitchen and storage areas. The role involves physical activity including standing, walking, bending, and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds. Working conditions include indoor tasks predominantly, with occasional outdoor work when traveling to other park facilities. The club encourages professional development through training such as CPR/AED certification and emphasizes safe work practices consistent with District policies.

As a part-time role, benefits are geared towards enhancing the employee's recreational and wellness experience, including memberships to the club’s health and fitness center and pool. This supportive work environment is ideal for motivated individuals looking to contribute to a team focused on providing excellence in hospitality and member services.
