This establishment is not just a workplace, but a community where employees are encouraged to 'love the way you work.' Dial's mission revolves around enhancing the lives of seniors by infusing joy and purpose into their daily routines. With a commitment to excellence and compassion, Dial offers team members the unique opportunity to learn from experienced seniors and make a tangible difference in their lives.
As a team member at Dial, you will become an essential part of a family atmosphere, connecting with residents and contributing to their well-being. This position supports the operational aspects of the kitchen, ensuring that all culinary environments are maintained with the utmost cleanliness and organization. This role offers full-time employment opportunities with flexible scheduling that includes day, evening, and weekend shifts. The work environment is dynamic and supportive, making it ideal for individuals who thrive in collaborative and service-oriented settings.
The role itself involves a variety of responsibilities focused primarily on the sanitation and maintenance of dishwasher equipment and kitchen utensils, along with providing support to kitchen staff in food preparation and restocking. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining hygiene standards as required by local and state health authorities while also delivering excellent customer service to residents to enhance their dining experience. Additional duties include bus tables, assisting with kitchen cleanliness, and performing routine preventative maintenance on kitchen appliances. This role is especially suited for those who enjoy a fast-paced setting and are committed to upholding high standards of health and safety.
Joining Dial means accessing a robust benefits package designed to support employees' personal and professional growth. These include paid time off starting from the first day, tuition assistance for continuing education, holiday double pay, and various employee recognition initiatives that celebrate your dedication and loyalty. Other benefits include access to discounted services through major providers like Verizon and AT&T, a pay advance program, life and health insurance options, and a 401K retirement plan. Additionally, team members receive free meals during their shifts, contributing to overall job satisfaction and well-being.
This position is ideal for those who are at least 16 years old and possess basic English language skills necessary for communication and understanding job instructions. Prior experience in food cleanup or kitchen support is preferred but not mandatory, as training and support are provided. Candidates should be physically capable of standing and moving for several hours per shift, reflecting the active nature of the role. Above all, this job places a strong emphasis on teamwork, customer service, and adherence to food safety protocols, making it a rewarding and impactful career choice for individuals passionate about service and community care.
