This job opening is for the position of Dishwasher at SSM HEALTH ST MARYS HOSPITAL in Madison. The role is on an on-call part-time basis with varying shifts, including days, hours, and rotating weekends, providing flexible work opportunities suitable for individuals seeking supplementary income or flexible scheduling. The position offers a competitive pay rate of $18.00 per hour.

As a Dishwasher at Sodexo, you will play a vital role in supporting kitchen and facility operations by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization throughout food production and service areas. Your responsibilities will include washing dishes manually or using dishwashing equipment, cleaning and sanitizing worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks, as well as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to uphold hygienic conditions. You will also be responsible for removing trash and garbage to designated areas, cleaning equipment with specific chemicals to meet sanitary standards, restocking supplies such as soap and paper towels, and assisting with basic set-up and break-down tasks.

The role demands physical stamina and mobility, including the ability to walk or stand for extended periods often exceeding eight hours, the capability to reach, bend, stoop, push, pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifts or moves of 50 pounds. Reliability, punctuality, and the willingness to perform other assigned duties based on client and business requirements are essential qualities for success in this role.
