The Dishwasher / Porter position at One World Observatory is a vital role responsible for upholding the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization across the kitchen and food and beverage operations. This role is crucial in ensuring that all dishware, cookware, equipment, and service areas are meticulously cleaned, properly stocked, and maintained to support smooth and efficient operations, ultimately enhancing the guest experience. Beyond dishwashing duties, the Dishwasher / Porter assists with inventory management, receiving deliveries, event support, and general kitchen upkeep. This role demands a strong commitment to cleanliness and operational excellence, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $20, complemented by a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and a 401(k) plan. The work environment is on-site at the One World Observatory in New York City, where employees will engage with a dynamic, world-class venue serving thousands of visitors daily. Physical demands include standing and walking for extended periods, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds, in line with the demands of dishwashing, cleaning, stocking, and material handling responsibilities. The role also requires a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours to meet business needs.
