The Dishwasher / Porter position at One World Observatory is a vital role responsible for upholding the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization across the kitchen and food and beverage operations. This role is crucial in ensuring that all dishware, cookware, equipment, and service areas are meticulously cleaned, properly stocked, and maintained to support smooth and efficient operations, ultimately enhancing the guest experience. Beyond dishwashing duties, the Dishwasher / Porter assists with inventory management, receiving deliveries, event support, and general kitchen upkeep. This role demands a strong commitment to cleanliness and operational excellence, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

- Previous experience in dishwashing, stewarding, porter, warehouse, food service, or hospitality operations preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Basic knowledge of food service sanitation, safety practices, and kitchen operations
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English

Job Duties
- Wash, sanitize, and properly store all china, glassware, silverware, cookware, and kitchen utensils
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, pots, pans, workstations, and food preparation areas
- Sweep, mop, and maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, storage areas, and service corridors
- Monitor inventory levels and obtain supplies, equipment, and products as needed for assigned areas
- Assist with receiving deliveries, unloading pallets, stocking storerooms, and replenishing service stations
- Perform routine inventory counts and maintain adequate stock levels within assigned areas
- Transport food, supplies, equipment, and other materials safely and efficiently throughout the operation
- Support event and operational setup, breakdown, and other assigned functions as needed
- Complete assigned opening and closing duties in accordance with departmental standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while adhering to all sanitation and food safety requirements
- Provide timely, professional support to team members to ensure efficient operation and service delivery
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
