The Dishwasher position at Sodexo, located at Adventist Health Castle, offers a part-time employment opportunity with a competitive hourly wage of $20.00. This role is integral to supporting the kitchen and facility operations by ensuring cleanliness, sanitation, and organization throughout the food production and service areas. The dishwasher is responsible for maintaining the hygiene and sanitation standards required in a healthcare setting, which includes cleaning dishes, utensils, equipment, floors, and workspaces. Open availability and flexibility are preferred as shifts vary and may require work during different days and hours. This role is essential to the smooth operation of foodservices and helps uphold the safety and quality standards Sodexo commits to its clients.

As a Dishwasher at Sodexo, you will contribute to maintaining a high level of sanitation by washing dishes either manually or by using commercial dishwashing machines. The position involves cleaning and sanitizing worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks, as well as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. You will be responsible for the removal of trash and garbage to designated areas, cleaning equipment with proper chemicals to meet sanitary standards, and restocking supplies such as soap and cleaning materials. Physical stamina is needed, as this role requires significant walking or other means of mobility, the ability to stand or walk for extended periods which may exceed eight hours, and frequently lifting or moving heavy items of up to 35 pounds with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
