Hotel Longmont is an exciting new boutique lifestyle hotel currently under development in downtown Longmont, Colorado. Set to open in early summer, this hotel aims to provide a modern, locally inspired experience catering to both business and leisure travelers. Featuring 84 guest rooms and suites, the property will boast a rooftop bar and restaurant as well as approximately 2,600 square feet of flexible meeting and event space. We are currently seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to join our pre-opening team at Hotel Longmont. This full-time role reports directly to the Director of Food & Beverage and offers a competitive hourly wage between $19 and $20. The Dishwasher will play a crucial part in establishing our operational foundation by ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of our kitchen spaces. This role is vital to maintaining the highest standards of quality for all china, glassware, silverware, and operational supplies. The successful candidate will help create a seamless guest experience by supporting the F&B team through essential daily cleaning tasks, light food prep, and the setup and breakdown of meeting and event spaces. Job Requirements
- Must possess a positive attitude and the ability to work with a variety of people and in cooperation with coworkers effectively
- Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
- Ability to easily adapt to organizational and environmental changes
- Must have a flexible schedule, including but not limited to evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Report to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed and in regulation with company dress code policy
- Adhere to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 30 pounds without assistance
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a dishwasher or similar role in a hospitality environment advantageous
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Responsible for cleaning all china, glassware, and silverware to the highest standards
- Perform light food preparation tasks as needed
- Set up and break down meeting and event spaces
- Ensure proper daily cleaning of all kitchen equipment
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen and reception area
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen and F&B team members
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations during cleaning processes
