The Dishwasher position at Sunrise Senior Living plays a vital role in maintaining the hygiene and sanitation of all areas involved with food production and consumption. This includes the kitchen, dining rooms, bistros, private dining spaces, serveries, and pantries. The Dishwasher is responsible for cleaning dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment, while ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Additional duties involve janitorial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash, contributing to a safe and organized kitchen environment.

This role supports food preparation and plating when necessary and assists in the management of food and supply inventory through proper storage, labeling, and rotation. The importance of safety and adherence to occupational health protocols is paramount, with responsibilities including consistent use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and detailed maintenance of sanitation logs.
