The role of Dishwasher/Utility at Red Lobster is an essential support position within the restaurant’s operational team. This role ensures the cleanliness and sanitation of all dining and kitchen areas, maintaining high standards of hygiene necessary for a quality dining experience. The Dishwasher/Utility is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all dishes, cutlery, glassware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils efficiently and safely, while also operating dishwashers and other cleaning equipment according to safety protocols. The role requires emptying kitchen and other trash receptacles regularly and assisting cooks and kitchen staff with food preparation tasks including helping prepare Red Lobster’s signature Cheddar Bay Biscuits.
As a member of the Red Lobster team, the Dishwasher/Utility must demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and customer focus by supporting a smooth and safe kitchen environment. The job involves standing for extended periods, handling physical tasks such as lifting up to 30 pounds, bending, reaching, and squatting safely.
