The team-oriented culture encourages associates to work collaboratively and maintain high standards of professionalism and care throughout the community.

The Dishwasher position at Waltonwood plays a vital role in the overall dining experience, ensuring that the kitchen and dining areas maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and sanitation at all times. This role is essential in supporting the culinary department, which is committed to serving delicious, nourishing meals in a warm and inviting environment tailored to senior residents. The dishwasher works behind the scenes to clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, pots, and other kitchen equipment using both machine and manual cleaning methods. Additionally, the dishwasher helps maintain cleanliness in kitchen floors and stockrooms, while vigilantly reporting any hazardous situations to supervisory staff.

They also demonstrate flexibility and teamwork by assisting with additional duties as needed, reflecting Waltonwood's culture of continuous support and community. The position reports to the Culinary Supervisor or Culinary Service Director and resides within the Culinary department, underscoring its importance in maintaining a sanitary and efficient kitchen environment that supports the culinary team in delivering outstanding service.

By maintaining impeccable cleanliness and observing all food safety and sanitation standards, the dishwasher helps ensure the health and well-being of residents. The role also demands physical stamina, manual dexterity, and a commitment to working safely in a dynamic kitchen setting. Prospective candidates should appreciate the significance of routine, responsibility, and respect for both the workspace and the senior residents they ultimately serve. Joining Waltonwood means becoming part of a team that values dedication, professionalism, and a sincere commitment to enhancing the daily lives of those in their care.
