Job Requirements

  • No prior experience required
  • Prior restaurant or hospitality experience preferred
  • High school or equivalent education preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management, guests, and hourly staff
  • Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
  • Must be able to reach, bend, and frequently lift up to 30 pounds
  • Must have the stamina to work a minimum of 40 hours per week

Job Qualifications

  • High school or equivalent education preferred
  • Prior restaurant or hospitality experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management, guests, and hourly staff
  • Knowledge of sanitation and cleaning procedures in restaurant environments
  • Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings
  • Basic understanding of food safety standards
  • Ability to follow established restaurant policies and procedures

Job Duties

  • Clean and sanitize all china, glassware, silverware, flatware, pots, and pans in the restaurant
  • Ensure proper sanitation and cleanliness of all kitchens and food preparation areas including ovens, grills, stoves, hoods, fryers, preparation slicers, steam kettles, tables, and floors
  • Assist culinary staff during special requests or priorities as directed by Executive Chef or Sous Chef
  • Fulfill daily cleaning of kitchen and equipment after hours
  • Operate efficiently and professionally within the restaurant with respect, teamwork, and initiative
  • Maintain clean and organized workstations adhering to the restaurant’s philosophy and standards
  • Communicate effectively with management, guests, and staff to represent the restaurant professionally
