The company is committed to fostering a culture of belonging, dedicated to supporting its employees with career development opportunities, comprehensive benefits, and a work environment where everyone feels valued and empowered. Whether you are enjoying a home-cooked meal, shopping in the country store, or working behind the scenes, Cracker Barrel ensures that every experience is memorable and meaningful.

This position is for a Dishwasher, a vital behind-the-scenes role that ensures the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. As a Dishwasher at Cracker Barrel, you will be the steady hand ensuring every plate, pot, pan, and utensil is meticulously cleaned and ready for use. This role emphasizes the importance of teamwork, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. Dishwashers play an essential part in creating the foundation for a great dining experience by maintaining cleanliness and organization. No prior restaurant experience is necessary as Cracker Barrel offers thorough training to equip team members with the skills needed to succeed. The role supports a fast-paced yet supportive work environment where juggling multiple tasks, staying organized, and moving with purpose are key attributes. Employees are encouraged to bring a team-first mindset, take pride in a job well done, and contribute to the smooth operation of the restaurant’s kitchen.

Cracker Barrel values the contributions of its team members and offers competitive weekly pay with same-day pay access. Beyond pay, the company provides full health insurance eligibility beginning on the first day of employment for both full-time and part-time employees, vacation time, and access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Employees also benefit from industry-leading training opportunities through the PAR training program starting on day one, a 401k plan with company matching contributions after 90 days, and an Employee Stock Purchase Program. Additional perks include a generous 35% discount on Cracker Barrel food and retail items and exclusive savings on home, travel, cell phone plans, and more.

Cracker Barrel fosters a culture that supports career growth, employee recognition, and community through onboarding, training, professional development, recognition programs, and employee events. The company prides itself on being an equal opportunity employer, considering qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, genetic information, national origin, age, marital status, medical condition, disability, or any other legally protected category.
