This position is a part-time, seasonal, event-based role with Legends, specifically designed to support the operational needs of sporting events and entertainment gatherings. The role comes with an hourly wage of $20.65 and focuses heavily on maintaining cleanliness, sanitary conditions, and safety within the kitchen and venue environment. Employees in this role will be responsible for washing dishes, kitchen equipment, and utensils using both dishwashers and manual methods. Additionally, the role requires employees to keep all kitchen areas orderly by cleaning floors, utensils, and ensuring that equipment is stored properly after use.

The position demands a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays. Due to the nature of the outdoor stadium environment, employees must be prepared to withstand various weather conditions, ranging from freezing temperatures and snow to hot summer days. The ability to perform physical tasks such as reaching, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods is essential. This role is crucial to the smooth operation of game day and event day services where efficiency, teamwork, and adherence to safety policies make a significant impact on overall guest satisfaction. While the job offers limited benefits, there is eligibility for a 401k option and paid sick leave in accordance with local regulations. Candidates must be available to work during most Colorado Rapids games and be flexible for additional events and concerts that might be added throughout the season.

Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • availability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • sufficient mobility to perform assigned physical tasks
  • willingness to work in various weather conditions including extreme cold and heat
  • adherence to safety protocols and completion of safety training
  • availability for the majority of Colorado Rapids games and additional events
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
  • sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods
  • willingness to work in an outdoor stadium subject to adverse weather conditions
  • practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations
  • complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training
  • must be available for the majority of Colorado Rapids games held on Saturdays and Wednesdays
  • availability for specific key dates including February 28th, March 7th, April 11th, May 9th and 23rd, July 22nd, August 1st, 15th, 19th, 29th, September 12th, 19th, and October 10th, 14th, 24th, 31st
  • availability for Colorado Rapids 2 minor league games on Sundays
  • availability for additional events and concerts as may be added

Job Duties

  • Clean dishes, kitchen, food preparation equipment, or utensils
  • Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using dishwashers or by hand
  • Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition
  • Wash all plates, glass and silverware
  • Clean all equipment, pots and pans
  • Store all equipment in proper locations
  • Sweep and mop all floors in the kitchen
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Transport food and equipment throughout the venue as needed
