Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year’s dishwashing and/or commercial kitchen cleaning experience within hospitality and culinary-focused environments preferred
  • Possession of any current state-sanctioned regulatory Food and Alcoholic Beverage Licenses required for working in food, beverage, and health services environments
  • Ability to adhere to sanitation and safety standards
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Capacity to follow instructions and work under supervision
  • Physical ability to perform cleaning and dishwashing tasks
  • Strong attention to detail

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year’s dishwashing and/or commercial kitchen cleaning experience within hospitality or culinary-focused environments preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow detailed cleaning and dishwashing protocols
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Basic emergency response knowledge
  • Willingness to train and support new team members

Job Duties

  • Perform dishwashing duties as assigned by the Sous Chef, Chef de Cuisine, and Utility Lead
  • Clean fixtures and equipment in all kitchens and assigned areas regularly following directed cleaning schedules
  • Adhere to established Dining Services policies and procedures
  • Attend all team meetings and required events
  • Remain knowledgeable of emergency procedures and act calmly in emergencies
  • Follow specific standardized dishwashing and cleaning processes as directed by leadership
  • Keep supervisors informed of any potential problems
  • Lead by example in food safety and sanitation
  • Train newly hired and transitioned utility team members as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
