Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year’s dishwashing and/or commercial kitchen cleaning experience within hospitality and culinary-focused environments preferred
- Possession of any current state-sanctioned regulatory Food and Alcoholic Beverage Licenses required for working in food, beverage, and health services environments
- Ability to adhere to sanitation and safety standards
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Capacity to follow instructions and work under supervision
- Physical ability to perform cleaning and dishwashing tasks
- Strong attention to detail
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year’s dishwashing and/or commercial kitchen cleaning experience within hospitality or culinary-focused environments preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow detailed cleaning and dishwashing protocols
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Basic emergency response knowledge
- Willingness to train and support new team members
Job Duties
- Perform dishwashing duties as assigned by the Sous Chef, Chef de Cuisine, and Utility Lead
- Clean fixtures and equipment in all kitchens and assigned areas regularly following directed cleaning schedules
- Adhere to established Dining Services policies and procedures
- Attend all team meetings and required events
- Remain knowledgeable of emergency procedures and act calmly in emergencies
- Follow specific standardized dishwashing and cleaning processes as directed by leadership
- Keep supervisors informed of any potential problems
- Lead by example in food safety and sanitation
- Train newly hired and transitioned utility team members as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
