Job Requirements

Ability to learn and follow established policy and procedures
Ability to read and understand written and verbal instruction
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to provide customer service
Must be able to learn food handling regulations and pass certification tests as required
Food handlers card required within 30 days of hire for Banner Staffing Services members
Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card required for employees at Behavioral Health Hospital and Olive Branch Senior Center at time of hire and maintained during employment
Ability to follow work routine with regular supervision
Ability to work quickly and correctly
Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely

Job Qualifications

Ability to learn and follow established policies and procedures

Ability to learn food handling regulations and pass certification tests
Experience with POS cash register when applicable
Additional related education and/or experience preferred

Job Duties

Set up work station and prepare assigned foods and nourishments following procedures and portion control
Clean and sanitize dishes, flatware, trays, cups, glasses, and cooking utensils
Clean and sanitize designated equipment and kitchen areas, disposing of waste materials
Monitor dish machine temperature
Maintain par levels of foods and supplies, order and restock items, rotate food stocks and check expiration dates
Check and record food and equipment temperatures according to procedures and report discrepancies
Deliver meals, nourishments, late trays, and tube feedings to units and assist in catering or special event service
