Job Requirements
- ability to wash and clean all tableware, pots, pans, cooking equipment, and bus tubs
- capability to wash all equipment, mats, and walls in the dish work area and office
- organizational skills to keep equipment and work area clean
- ability to handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss
- commitment to maintaining cleanliness outside the diner
- observational skills to monitor dish machine water temperature and detergent levels
- willingness to bag and haul dish room trash to dumpster
Job Qualifications
- experience as a dishwasher in a fast-paced work environment
- working knowledge of loading rinsed items into the dish machine and running the machine
- experience assisting in stocking deliveries
Job Duties
- wash and clean all tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment for the diner
- keep dish washing area clean and organized throughout each shift
- wash equipment, mats, and walls in the dish work area and office
- handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss
- ensure the outside of the diner is clean and free of debris
- monitor dish machine water temperature and levels of detergents and cleaning supplies
- bag and haul dish room trash to dumpster
