We are currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. This role is vital in upholding the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining ware. The Dishwasher will be responsible for washing all kitchen wares, including pots, pans, flatware, and glasses, either by hand or using dishwashers. An integral part of this position is correctly placing and storing clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in their designated storage areas. Additionally, the individual will stock serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and other assigned areas with the necessary dishes and utensils to ensure smooth kitchen operations. The Dishwasher will also assist in cleaning trash receptacles using water or steam and handle dishwashing supplies and equipment efficiently.

The role requires maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly work area that aligns with company policies and local and state regulations concerning health, safety, and sanitation. In some instances, the Dishwasher may assist with the preparation and cleaning of various foods to support kitchen staff, contributing to collaborative and productive working conditions. The position demands a focus on detail, the ability to follow directions, and the ability to work well in a noisy and fast-paced environment. Physical stamina is essential due to prolonged standing or walking, lifting heavy items up to 60 pounds, and working in hot and damp conditions throughout various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Prior experience in a restaurant setting is preferred but not mandatory.
