The role of Dishwasher/Utility at Red Lobster is an essential position focused on maintaining the cleanliness and operational efficiency of the restaurant. Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing dishware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils, as well as the overall cleanliness of the dining and kitchen areas. The Dishwasher/Utility team member operates dishwashing equipment safely and effectively, empties trash, and collaborates closely with kitchen cooks to support meal preparation including the preparation of signature Cheddar Bay biscuits. Emphasizing teamwork, this role demands attention to detail, adherence to cleanliness and safety protocols, and a focus on delivering top-notch service to guests. Physical stamina is required, as the job entails bending, reaching, stooping, lifting up to 50 pounds safely, and standing for long shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours. Candidates should have an attention to detail and the ability to multitask efficiently in a dynamic restaurant environment. Culinary experience is preferred but not mandatory. Job Duties

  • Cleaning and maintaining all areas of the restaurant
  • cleaning and sanitizing all dishware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans and cooking utensils
  • safely and correctly operating the dishwasher and other equipment
  • emptying all trash in the kitchen and other areas
  • working as one kitchen by supporting the cooks with prep work, preparation of our signature Cheddar Bay biscuits, and other tasks as needed
  • focusing on your team and guests, making decisions with them in mind
  • following all cleanliness and safety protocols
