Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food service or hospitality environment is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, including banquet or catering services, is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented atmosphere while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining hygiene standards in the kitchen
- Willingness to assist with various kitchen duties beyond dishwashing as needed
Job Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all items are properly stored after cleaning
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including bussing tables and helping cooks during busy periods
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need to be replenished
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
- Support kitchen staff by helping with additional tasks as required during peak service times
