Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a food service or hospitality environment is preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with kitchen operations, including banquet or catering services, is a plus
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented atmosphere while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining hygiene standards in the kitchen
  • Willingness to assist with various kitchen duties beyond dishwashing as needed

Job Duties

  • Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all items are properly stored after cleaning
  • Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including bussing tables and helping cooks during busy periods
  • Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need to be replenished
  • Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
  • Support kitchen staff by helping with additional tasks as required during peak service times
