The position available is that of a Steward within Four Seasons’ Food and Beverage department, responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation to support the hotel’s award-winning service. This is a full-time role, typically scheduled from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM with potential overnight shifts from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM, requiring flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
The Steward plays a crucial role in ensuring all dishware, silverware, kitchen equipment, and utensils are immaculately cleaned and sanitized using industrial-size dish machines and other cleaning methods. The steward also manages the silver polishing program and safely handles cleaning chemicals and supplies. This position demands physical stamina, including the ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand or walk for entire shifts. Candidates must possess strong communication skills to interact effectively with coworkers and guests. A high school education or equivalent experience is sufficient for this role, alongside mandatory certification such as Maricopa County Food Handler’s license.

Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize china, glass, and silver using a dish machine
- Maintain the sanitation of all major kitchen equipment, culinary and food and beverage facilities
- Clean and sanitize all pots, pans, and kitchen utensils
- Maintain the silver polishing program
- Utilize and handle cleaning supplies and chemicals in a safe manner
