Job Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Strong passion for food and people
  • Previous culinary experience preferred but not required
  • Team player with a good attitude and works with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to read and follow written recipes, standards, and safety instructions
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Ability to work in both hot and cool environments
  • Able to lift at least 20 pounds and frequently squat and bend
  • Self-accountable in upholding high standards
  • Able to work in a fast-paced setting standing for up to 8 hours daily
  • Willingness to learn and develop
  • ServSafe Food Handler Certification (if not possessed, company will assist in certification)

Job Duties

  • Ensuring the cleanliness and quality of every dish, pot, pan, utensil, and item used in the kitchen
  • Being an ambassador of the company mission and core values, and a great team player
  • Following food safety and sanitation standards consistently
  • Ensuring the dish machine operates at correct temperatures
  • Using the proper detergents and sanitizers when cleaning dishes, walls, cook/prep surfaces, and floors
  • Abiding by Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for hazardous chemical use
  • Maintaining clean, safe, and organized kitchen walkways and dish areas
  • Assisting kitchen with prep work, food order organization, and produce rotation
