Job Description
Cracker Barrel is a beloved American restaurant and retail chain that has been welcoming guests since 1969. Known for its warm hospitality, homestyle cooking, and a unique shopping experience featuring country-themed gifts and décor, Cracker Barrel has become a destination for families and travelers alike. With over 70,000 team members nationwide, the company blends tradition with a modern approach to hospitality, striving to create moments that matter for every guest. At its core, Cracker Barrel is more than just a restaurant; it is a community hub where people can reconnect, share a meal, and enjoy genuine southern comfort. The company places a strong emphasis on teamwork, pride in work, and creating a culture of belonging among its employees.
The Dishwasher role at Cracker Barrel is a critical behind-the-scenes position that ensures the kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently. Dishwashers play an essential part by keeping all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans clean, providing the foundation for seamless kitchen service. This role demands a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, as every spotless dish contributes to an exceptional dining experience for guests. This position suits individuals who are organized, can multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Even without prior restaurant experience, Cracker Barrel offers comprehensive training and support to help team members excel.
Working at Cracker Barrel offers much more than a paycheck. Employees enjoy competitive wages with weekly and same-day pay options. The company supports its workers with health insurance eligibility starting from day one, available to both full-time and part-time staff. Paid vacation time and access to an employee assistance program (EAP) emphasize the company's commitment to employee well-being. Cracker Barrel also encourages growth through its industry-leading PAR training program, 401k plan with company matching after 90 days, and an Employee Stock Purchase Program, promoting personal and professional development. The company culture nurtures a sense of belonging through onboarding, ongoing training, recognition programs, and employee events that foster camaraderie. Additional perks include a 35% discount on food and retail items and exclusive discounts on home goods, travel, and cell phones through the Biscuit Perks program.
Cracker Barrel stands out as a welcoming employer that values diversity and inclusivity, considering qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, genetic information, national origin, age, marital status, medical condition, disability, or any other protected class. If you want to be part of a team that values careful work, teamwork, and community spirit while providing robust support and opportunities for growth, a dishwasher position at Cracker Barrel could be an ideal fit. Join a company that has been creating memorable dining moments for over five decades and where your contribution is valued every day.
