This role is for a Dishwasher/Utility position within Red Lobster's well-established kitchen team. The primary responsibility is to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across the restaurant operation. This includes thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing all dishware such as plates, flatware, glassware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils to ensure health and safety compliance. The dishwasher/utility team member will also safely operate dishwashing equipment and assist in waste management by emptying trash from kitchen and other areas. The position demands working cooperatively with cooks and other kitchen staff, supporting meal prep tasks including the preparation of signature Cheddar Bay biscuits. The role has a strong focus on teamwork and guest satisfaction, requiring employees to consider both team dynamics and customer experience in every action. Adherence to all cleanliness guidelines and safety protocols is mandatory to maintain food safety standards and a tidy work environment.

The job requires physical stamina to stand for long periods during shifts of 8 to 12 hours, as well as the ability to bend, reach, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds safely. While prior culinary experience is preferred, it is not mandatory, as Red Lobster provides training and encourages growth and advancement within the company. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Cleaning and maintaining all areas of the restaurant
  • Cleaning and sanitizing all dishware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans and cooking utensils
  • Safely and correctly operating the dishwasher and other equipment
  • Emptying all trash in the kitchen and other areas
  • Working as one kitchen, by supporting the cooks with prep work, preparation of our signature Cheddar Bay biscuits, and other tasks as needed
  • Focusing on your team and guests - every decision made should always have the guest and team in mind
  • Following all cleanliness and safety protocols
