Job Requirements
- must be eighteen years of age or older
- works indoors 90 percent and outdoors 10 percent
- works frequently in a hot and damp environment
- occasionally lifts and moves up to 75 pound items
- comfortable bending or stooping stocking shelves or putting away dishware
- reliable transportation is preferred
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in a dishwashing or kitchen support role is a plus
- ability to work in fast-paced environments
- strong attention to detail
- good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
- basic knowledge of sanitation and safety practices
- willingness to learn and take direction
- good communication skills
- ability to work well in a team setting
Job Duties
- clean dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dishwashing area and kitchen
- assist kitchen staff with food preparation and stocking
- remove trash and recyclables from kitchen and dining areas
- follow health and safety regulations
- operate dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently
- support team members in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
