The Dishwasher/Utility role at Red Lobster is a vital position that supports the restaurant’s operations by maintaining cleanliness and ensuring the kitchen runs efficiently. This role involves cleaning and sanitizing all dishware, utensils, pots, pans, and other cooking equipment, as well as operating dishwashing machinery safely and effectively. The position requires maintaining all areas of the restaurant in a clean and sanitary condition, including emptying trash and supporting kitchen staff with food preparation tasks such as prepping ingredients and making Red Lobster’s signature Cheddar Bay biscuits. The dishwasher/utility staff must demonstrate a strong team-oriented mindset, ensuring that all actions prioritize the guest experience and collaboration with kitchen colleagues. Physical demands of this position include being able to bend, reach, stoop, lift up to 50 pounds safely, and remain on their feet for shifts of 8 to 12 hours. Culinary experience is preferred but not mandatory. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, capable of multitasking, and committed to following strict cleanliness and safety protocols.
