The Las Vegas Marriott located at 325 Convention Center Dr, Las Vegas, Nevada, is seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join their Food and Beverage & Culinary team in a full-time, non-management capacity. This role is essential in supporting the day-to-day kitchen operations by handling the cleaning and maintenance of various kitchen tools, equipment, and work areas. The position involves operating and maintaining dishwashing machinery, hand wash stations, pot-scrubbing stations, and trash compactors, ensuring these are used effectively to maintain high standards of cleanliness.

Key responsibilities include washing and disinfecting kitchen and storage areas, managing deliveries by properly storing perishables and rotating stock to maintain freshness. The role demands meticulous attention to detail when cleaning dishes using the three-compartment sink with appropriate detergents and sanitizers, inspecting cleaned items for quality, and ensuring items are rewashed as necessary. Candidates will also be responsible for sorting and soaking silverware, breaking down dirty bus tubs, emptying trashcans, cleaning dumpsters, mopping floors, and disposing of recyclable materials like cardboard and glass responsibly.

Safety and adherence to company policies are paramount in this position. The associate is expected to report any maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, or unsafe working conditions promptly to management. Physical requirements include the ability to move weights up to 50 pounds independently and perform repetitive movements such as bending, twisting, and stooping over extended periods.
