The Utility Cleaner position at JW Marriott Dallas Arts District plays a crucial support role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and operational efficiency across several vital hotel functions. This full-time, non-management role is instrumental in ensuring that the hotel's food and beverage, kitchen, and laundry departments operate smoothly by meeting various cleaning needs. Utility Cleaners handle a wide range of tasks including preparing fresh clean linens, maintaining spotless dining ware, operating cleaning equipment such as dishwashing machines and linen washers, and transporting dishware and linens throughout the hotel.

Associates in this role are expected to contribute to creating a safe workplace by adhering strictly to company policies and procedures, while upholding JW Marriott's quality standards. Professionalism is key; this includes maintaining a neat uniform, professional personal appearance, and effective communication. The role requires physical stamina, as the associate will spend extended periods standing, sitting, or walking, and must be capable of moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects up to 50 pounds independently. Flexibility and willingness to perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors are also important.
