Located at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, Sodexo is currently seeking a full-time Dishwasher to support its kitchen and facility operations. This role offers an hourly wage of $12 to $13 and requires availability for varying shifts including days and hours, with open availability preferred. As a Dishwasher at Sodexo, the individual will play a critical role in maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization throughout food production and service areas. This position is essential to the smooth operation of the kitchen, supporting the work of food preparation staff by ensuring utensils, dishes, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized according to strict standards.

The Dishwasher will be responsible for washing dishes either by hand or using a dishwashing machine, cleaning and sanitizing worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks, as well as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, and removing trash. The role requires physical stamina, including the ability to stand or walk for extended periods that may exceed eight hours, and the strength to lift up to 35 pounds frequently and sometimes up to 50 pounds. Additional duties include restocking supplies such as soap and paper towels, cleaning equipment with designated chemicals, transporting supplies, and assisting with setup and breakdown tasks as needed.
