This position is with the Sodexo team at Iolani School, located in a vibrant educational setting. The role is available as either full-time or part-time, offering flexible shifts with a pay range of $16 to $17 per hour. The Dishwasher position plays a crucial role in supporting the kitchen and facility operations by maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization throughout food production and service areas. As a Dishwasher at Sodexo, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring that all kitchenware, utensils, and food preparation surfaces are impeccably clean and sanitary. This involves washing dishes by hand or using dishwashing machines efficiently and thoroughly. You will also maintain the cleanliness of worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks, ensuring that these areas meet strict hygiene standards. Beyond washing, the role includes sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, and removing trash to designated disposal areas, all pivotal to upholding a safe and sanitary kitchen environment.

Physical stamina is essential for success in this position, as it requires standing or walking for extended periods, bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting up to 35 pounds regularly, with occasional lifting or moving of up to 50 pounds.
