Job Requirements
- Must be age 16 or older
- ability to read, write and comprehend the English language
- standing, walking, and moving about continuously for 3 to 3.75 hours per shift without sitting down
Job Qualifications
- Promote teamwork in providing services to residents
- follow state food-handling and kitchen regulations
- operate basic kitchen appliances or willingness to learn
- ability to read, write, and comprehend English
- willingness to learn and help others
- enjoyment in working with older adults
- some experience in food cleanup or preparation preferred
Job Duties
- Stack dish machine
- soak dishes and run dish machine
- clean pots and pans and store after drying
- clean equipment, appliances, storage area, and sinks according to schedule
- participate in food and beverage serving as needed
- prepare beverages before meals
- provide customer service to residents to ensure high satisfaction
- bus tables during and after meals and clear tables when residents finish eating
- vacuum carpet in dining room after each meal
- maintain clean, orderly, and safe kitchen environment
- properly store food for infection control
- perform other duties as assigned
