Job Description

Highland Hills is a distinguished senior living community operating under the auspices of Trinity Health, one of the largest Catholic health care systems in the United States. As a part of Trinity Senior Living Communities, Highland Hills is dedicated to creating a nurturing, safe, and collaborative environment where both residents and staff can thrive. The community lives by the Sanctuary Values every day, which emphasize dignity, respect, and compassion. This philosophy shapes the culture at Highland Hills, ensuring that person-centered care is at the heart of all interactions. The organization fosters a commitment to inclusion and diversity, celebrating the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each staff member contributes. Being an Equal Opportunity Employer, Highland Hills ensures that all qualified applicants are considered for employment without discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected status.

The position available is for a full-time Dishwasher, a vital role within the Highland Hills kitchen team. The Dishwasher plays a key part in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation necessary for providing exceptional dining experiences to the community’s residents. This role is essential in protecting residents by preventing foodborne illnesses and cross-contamination, which enhances overall health and safety in the dining environment. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for setting up dishwashing and pot-sink areas before meal services, thoroughly cleaning dishes, pots, pans, and utensils, and returning these items to their proper storage locations. Additionally, maintaining weekly cleaning schedules for kitchen areas and equipment, disposing of trash and recyclables properly, and keeping floors and dining areas clean are critical components of the job. The role involves active engagement in maintaining a safe, healthy workspace by following strict sanitation protocols and established daily closing procedures.

This position requires physical stamina to lift heavy objects and to stand for extended periods, as well as the willingness to handle hot liquids, cleaning chemicals, and potentially contaminated materials safely. The Dishwasher at Highland Hills will also work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the community’s needs. Highland Hills offers a supportive work environment that includes comprehensive benefits such as paid holidays, generous paid time off (PTO), tuition reimbursement up to $4,000 annually, vendor discounts, and low-cost medical, dental, and vision insurance plans from day one. Employees can also benefit from daily pay options, quick interview responses, and job offers, making this a highly accessible and rewarding career opportunity for individuals passionate about supporting senior care and working in a mission-driven organization.
