The company's roots are deeply embedded in delivering exceptional service and creating meaningful moments for every visitor. Renowned for its Southern hospitality and consistent quality, Cracker Barrel has grown into a national powerhouse in the restaurant industry, combining traditional comfort food with a retail component that offers guests unique crafts and nostalgic items. The company prides itself on fostering a culture where teamwork, respect, and pride in one’s work are paramount, aligning with its commitment to providing a warm, friendly, and inclusive work environment.
The Dishwasher role at Cracker Barrel is essential to maintaining the smooth operation of the kitchen. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to join the hospitality industry with no previous restaurant experience required, as comprehensive training will be provided. As a Dishwasher, you are the backbone of the kitchen, ensuring that every pot, pan, fork, and plate is spotless and ready for service. The job demands organizational skills, the ability to multitask effectively, and a team-first mindset, all critical traits that help keep the kitchen running like clockwork. Cracker Barrel values employees who take pride in their work and understand that even the smallest details matter in delivering an exceptional dining experience.
The company offers competitive pay with weekly payments and access to same-day pay, appealing to those seeking financial stability and flexibility. Employees enjoy health insurance eligibility from day one, including full and part-time status, a vacation policy, and access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to support overall wellness. In addition to these benefits, Cracker Barrel provides growth and development opportunities beginning on the first day through its renowned PAR training program. Employees can participate in a 401(k) plan with company matching contributions after 90 days, and an Employee Stock Purchase Program, allowing for financial growth alongside the company’s success.
Cracker Barrel fosters a culture of belonging, emphasizing support from day one, with onboarding, training, and development tailored to help every team member thrive. The company also values recognition and camaraderie through employee events and programs designed to bring the team together. On top of the benefits and culture, employees receive a 35% discount on food and retail items at Cracker Barrel, as well as exclusive perks on home goods, travel, cellular services, and more.
This role is ideal for individuals who are energetic, organized, and eager to contribute to a supportive team environment. Whether you are rolling biscuits, staying behind the scenes, or greeting guests, Cracker Barrel ensures that the work you do is meaningful and appreciated. By joining Cracker Barrel, you become part of a community that truly believes 'we're all in good company.'
