Currently, Sodexo is seeking a full-time Dishwasher to join the team at Hillcrest Medical Center. This position offers an hourly pay rate of $15.00 and involves working afternoon and evening shifts on varying days, with further schedule details to be provided during the interview process. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in supporting kitchen and facility operations by ensuring cleanliness, sanitation, and organization throughout the food production and service areas. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards of hygiene and safety that Sodexo upholds, especially within a medical facility where cleanliness is paramount.
The Dishwasher’s responsibilities include washing dishes either by hand or using a dishwashing machine, cleaning and sanitizing work tables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks, as well as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. You will also be responsible for removing trash and garbage to designated areas and cleaning equipment with the appropriate chemicals to meet sanitary standards. Restocking supplies such as soap, paper towels, and cleaning materials is part of the daily tasks. This role requires significant walking or other forms of mobility, standing or walking for the entire shift which may exceed eight hours, and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. Reliability and punctuality are essential as the role demands attendance and showing up on time for scheduled shifts.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- No related work experience
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures, including basic concepts of food safety
- Ability to walk or stand for extended periods
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push or pull
- Ability to frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift or move 50 pounds
- Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
