Levy is currently seeking a Dishwasher to join their team at Camp Randall Stadium, part of the University of Wisconsin Madison. This role offers an hourly pay range of $17 to $18 and plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen environment. As a dishwasher, you will ensure all dishes, cookware, and kitchen surfaces are meticulously cleaned and organized, supporting the kitchen staff in delivering a seamless service experience. This position is especially suited for candidates who thrive in fast-paced settings and possess strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and hygiene standards. An anticipated start date for this position is in May.

The dishwasher role at Levy encompasses a variety of essential tasks designed to uphold the highest standards of kitchen sanitation and safety. Responsibilities include manual and machine washing of dishes, pots, pans, and trays; maintaining cleanliness of worktables, walls, refrigeration units, and food prep areas; proper disposal of waste and trash management; and regular maintenance of floors and kitchen equipment. Additionally, support with stocking and transporting supplies ensures operational efficiency. Collaborating closely with supervisors and team members, the dishwasher helps create a safe and productive work environment, facilitating smooth kitchen operations and excellent service delivery.

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in restaurant or food service preferred but not required
  • Ability to be on your feet for long hours
  • Ability to lift and move 20-40 lbs of kitchen supplies

  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with others
  • Comfortable using slip-resistant shoes and practicing proper lifting techniques

Job Duties

  • Scrape, rinse, and wash dishes, pots, pans, and trays by hand or using the dishwashing machine
  • Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces to maintain a sanitary environment
  • Remove trash and waste, placing it in designated containers
  • Clean and steam garbage cans to maintain a hygienic kitchen space
  • Follow safety and sanitation procedures at all times
  • Sweep and mop kitchen floors, ensuring they are kept clean and safe
  • Maintain the dishwashing area, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly
  • Assist with the transfer of supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
  • Work closely with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • Assist with any other tasks as assigned
