The Dishwasher position at Main Event plays a critical role in maintaining the overall cleanliness of the building and ensuring the safety of guests and staff alike. This role is responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and properly storing all dishes, flatware, utensils, and kitchenware used throughout the facility. Dishwashers at Main Event help support the kitchen operation by managing dishwashing tasks efficiently, handling chemicals safely, and maintaining the kitchen and dish areas in compliance with all sanitation and safety policies. This position requires an individual who is self-motivated, disciplined, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, the Dishwasher is expected to contribute positively to the team by assisting kitchen staff with various duties as needed, supporting line maintenance, and participating in the upkeep of kitchen and storage areas.

Job Duties
- Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through food, drinks, and games
- keep immediate supervisor informed of problems and suggest corrective actions
- use chemicals properly for safety and cost control
- safely operate all equipment
- clean and sanitize dishware, flatware, and glassware
- sort dishware and flatware to avoid loss or disposal
- clean and sanitize kitchen pots, pans, and utensils
- adhere to safety and sanitation policies
- handle glassware and dishware carefully to prevent breakage
- empty and maintain kitchen trash cans
- assist kitchen staff with pressure point relief
- support line maintenance, sweeping, and clearing dishes
- assist with prep and banquet items as directed
- clean and maintain kitchen and dish areas, floors, walls, and drains
- maintain kitchen storage areas and stocking
- clean and maintain mats
- assist other team members as needed
- maintain positive working relationships to promote cooperation
