Job Requirements

- food handlers card valid in California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Nevada, Texas, or Virginia
- ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- physical ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods
- reliable and punctual
- willingness to follow safety and hygiene protocols

Job Duties
- keep plateware, glassware, tableware, and cooking utensils clean and sanitized
- maintain the dish machine, dish room, prep area, and equipment
- maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in the dish room and adjacent restaurant areas
- be familiar with chemicals used in the dish machine and daily cleaning procedures
- sweep and mop floors, wipe down workstations, walls, and furniture, remove trash
- sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware, and cooking utensils, place them in racks to send through the dish machine
- sort and stack clean dishes, carry clean dishes to the cook's line and other proper storage areas
- change the dishwater in the dish machine as required
- wash pots, pans, and trays
- fill and empty soak tubs with cleaning and sanitizing solutions
- assemble and disassemble the dish machine
- prepare thoroughly and strive for perfection
