Job Description

PLC is currently looking for a Dishwasher to join their team, a critical role that supports the dining experience by maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in kitchen areas. The Dishwasher plays an essential role in ensuring that dishes, utensils, food preparation, and kitchen equipment are sanitized according to state, federal, and healthcare standards. This position provides an excellent entry-level opportunity into the senior care field, with no prior dietary experience required, although working experience in long-term care or hospital settings is a plus. Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Cleans resident eating areas, work areas, equipment and utensils according to the proper procedures
  • Assists with set-up/break-down of meal areas
  • Reports any issues or problems that may arise to Dietary Manager
  • Complies with state and federal sanitation standards
  • Complies with state, federal, and all other applicable health care and safety standards
  • Attends in-services and other required meetings
  • Performs other duties and tasks as assigned
