Job Requirements
- ability to move items weighing up to 50 pounds
- ability to stock items on shelves above eye level
- able to stand for long periods
- awareness of kitchen safety procedures
- physical stamina to perform tasks involving standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods
- willingness to work flexible hours as needed
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in a commercial kitchen or dishwashing role is beneficial
- knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation protocols
- ability to operate commercial dishwashing equipment
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- operate and maintain dish washing machine
- wash all china, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils
- breakdown boxes and empty trash into dumpster
- clean kitchen walls as appropriate
- clean floor mats, sweep and mop entire kitchen floor daily
- assist in cleaning ovens and refrigerators regularly
- unload shipments, date items, and stock shelves
