The role available is for a Dishwasher/Utility position within Red Lobster’s team. This role is essential to the smooth operation of the restaurant, responsible for keeping the environment clean, sanitized, and organized to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and efficiency. The Dishwasher/Utility is tasked with cleaning and maintaining all areas of the restaurant, including dishware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils. Proper operation of dishwashing equipment is a key responsibility, alongside ensuring trash is regularly emptied and the kitchen operates as a cohesive unit. Additional duties include assisting cooks with preparation tasks such as making Red Lobster’s signature Cheddar Bay biscuits. This role requires attention to detail, a team-oriented attitude, and a focus on guest satisfaction and safety. Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and perform tasks involving bending, reaching, and stooping. Job Duties
- Cleaning and maintaining all areas of the restaurant
- Cleaning and sanitizing all dishware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans and cooking utensils
- Safely and correctly operating the dishwasher and other equipment
- Emptying all trash in the kitchen and other areas
- Working as one kitchen, by supporting the Cooks with prep work, preparation of our signature Cheddar Bay biscuits, and other tasks as needed
- Focusing on your team and guests - every decision made should always have the guest and team in mind
- Following all cleanliness and safety protocols
